The Soldiers Memorial Institute was opened by the then Governor, the Earl of Stradbroke on Tuesday 15th November 1921. Volunteers staff the museum which catalogues, stores and displays a broad range of wartime memorabilia that has either been donated or loaned by individuals and organisations.
The Bendigo District RSL has an active Tennis Section which competes in the Eaglehawk and Districts Tennis Association, with teams at all levels. Membership of the Bendigo District RSL Sub Branch Inc. includes free use of the tennis courts when available.
