Terms & Conditions

To secure a booking for your function, a deposit is required. In the event of a cancellation the deposit is non-refundable unless cancellation is advised two (2) months prior to your booking. All 21st Birthday Parties and Presentation nights require the payment of a $200 bond prior to the function, refunded by cheque one week after the function (provided no property damage has occurred).

Confirmation — For catering purposes, confirmation of your total numbers of guests attending your function is required 5 working days prior to the event. The confirmed number provided is what your final account will be based on. Changes on the day are not acceptable.

Entertainment — Entertainment will be subject to approval. Management must be advised at the time of the booking. Music can be played until 1am as per Council regulations.

Food & Beverage Policy — No food or beverage is permitted at any time to be brought into or consumed on the premises, with the exception of celebration cakes.

Decorations — You are more than welcome to decorate your room on the day of your function provided there are no prior bookings. A time will be allocated as to when the room will be available. *Please phone 24 hours beforehand to confirm availability. Nothing is to be nailed or screwed to any wall or other surfaces of the building. Signage must be approved by management and kept to a minimum.

Property Damage — Organisers are financially responsible for all damage caused to any area of the venue by their guests, delegates, employees or agents, before, during and after a function.

Payment Of Accounts — All accounts are to be paid before the commencement of function, unless other arrangements have been authorised. Any balances must be made at the completion of the function. Cash/credit cards are accepted.

Responsibility BDRSL — does not accept responsibility for damage to or loss of any clients property. This applies to all areas of the BDRSL.

Liquor Licensing Requirements — Management reserves the right to exclude or remove any person from a function or any other areas of the venue in accordance with the Liquor Control Act of Victoria.

Pricing — All prices have been based on current cost and are subject to change. Price changes will be advised.

Unforseen Circumstances — In the event of inability to comply with any of the provisions of this contract by virtue of any cessation or interruptions of gas, electricity, industry dispute, plant or equipment failure, unavailability of food, other unforeseen contingency or accident, the venue reserves the right to cancel any bookings and refund any deposits, at ant time.

Dress CodeAll clothing must be neat, clean and in good repair.

  • Not Permitted Any Time Hats & Caps, Moccasins, Mens Singlets & Sleeveless Shirts, Offensive pictures or slogans on clothing, Rubber Thongs
  • Not Permitted After 7 PM Industrial Work Wear including work boots
  • Not Permitted After 8 PMRSL sanctioned sports event attire

Management reserves the right to refuse entry at any time
