Veterans Yoga

Yoga provides many benefits for individual health and wellbeing, including improved body-mind relationship, stress management and increased physical and mental health. Yoga can assist with better muscular and joint health, improved posture and balance reduce stress, reduce pain and improve sleep. This class is open to all veterans and their partners with no previous experience required and if you haven’t tried Yoga before we encourage you to come along and give it a go.

Where is this event?

*Under Victorian legislation, a veteran is someone who has served, or is serving, in the Armed Forces of Australia, or the forces of another Commonwealth country (ie: New Zealand, United Kingdom, India) or Allied (ie: United States of America, France) country. The individual does not need to have seen active/warlike service overseas to meet the definition. Both full-time/regular and part-time/reserve service falls within the criteria.
**In accordance with Branch By-Law’s regarding patriotic welfare funds monies, may only be spent on Veterans & dependants (as defined by the Branch By-Laws)
